BirdBoy
Terms of use
Last updated: 25 October 2026. These terms cover the BirdBoy REV A digital build files provided by Tim Härle, BirdBoy, Bad Waldsee, Germany.
What the pack includes
The REV A pack is a digital DIY product: build instructions, PCB manufacturing files, 3D print files and ArkOS setup files for the documented R36S retrofit. It contains no handheld, physical components, manufacturing service, games, ROMs or BIOS files. You source and assemble the hardware yourself.
Purchase and delivery
Paddle processes purchases as merchant of record. Its buyer terms govern the payment transaction. After Paddle confirms payment, access is assigned to the email address used at checkout. Sign in with an email link to view the guide and download published files.
Personal-use license
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the BirdBoy files for your own private, non-commercial builds. You may have the parts manufactured for your own use. Do not share, give away, upload, publish, resell or sublicense the BirdBoy files or guide. Do not sell physical parts, modules or other products made from them. Third-party content remains subject to its own licenses. The purchase does not transfer copyright or rights in third-party software and hardware.
Updates and compatibility
Digital updates to this retrofit project, including a REV B build pack, are included if they are released. No future revision, release date or finished hardware product is promised. Follow the compatibility notes and safety steps in the guide; other R36S board or display variants are supported only where explicitly documented.
